Doodle Days: An Introduction, Woodland Wonderland Photoshop Brushes, and #drawthisinyourstyle Challe

Hello! Excited to start the beginning of a new section to my blog, art! While I have plans in the future to give tutorials, reviews and more with Illustration and drawing in general, I also wanted to a weekly update on what I'm drawing on a daily basis! I feel like not only can this show my process, but show my growth as an artist.
I recently bought a Photoshop brush pack from Retro Supply Co, specifically the Woodland Wonderland pack. I absolutely adore it, and if you are looking into Illustrating with more of a "Golden Book" or Children's book texture and style, I'd highly recommend it! I got the Premium pack, and it comes with really detailed and easy-to-follow tutorials. I really enjoy going a little more loose with my drawings recently, and the results have been very sweet and simple.
I also have been taking part of a really popular challenge that's been circulating Instagram lately, called #drawthisinyourstyle ! I did something with a color palette I love, and an even cuter character by @marinafraguasart .
I really love the little characters, as well as the curlier hair since I tend to play it safe with straight/wavy hair. Playing with line weight was my biggest thing for my piece and I'm really happy with how it turned out.
Keeping this short and sweet, as I want to plan a little more for the next week, and who knows, maybe I'll throw a little surprise in the next one! Let me know what you would be interested in knowing more about, suggestions for doodle themes, etc!
